At the end of their careers in the limelight black female models know that they must make way for younger talent. Well before that time comes many will proactively start thinking about what they’ll do to earn an income in the future. They therefore become determined to make the most of their current jobs to ensure that they will make a smooth transition into whatever careers they aspire for. A good number of models have managed to do this and Black Men Digital magazine has been fortunate enough to interview them.

One such lady is Shanti Saha who now runs Saha Concierge, a high-end concierge service that caters to sports and entertainment industry elites. Saha earned her degree in nursing from Florida State University in 2005. This in itself speaks volumes considering that many people solely attribute the success of to their natural good looks but not their individual intelligence, an unfortunate assumption that should be totally dispelled because many other models have college degrees in diverse disciplines.es.

Since its launch in 2011 Saha Concierge has established a fine reputation for itself, of course thanks to the competent management abilities of its CEO. Saha is held in high esteem by her high profile clients as she ably handles their epicurean travel bookings, accommodations and events requirements. Her client list, which currently features luminaries like Sean Kingston, Yung Berg, Cuda Love and Bryant McKinnie, is definitely set to become more celebrity-crusted in the future. In sort of a mentorship role, Saha requires all attending her clients’ events to display elegance, sophistication and classiness, not cattiness and drama. A fine reputation, she says, is the perfect prerequisite for guaranteeing client satisfaction.

Another of the black models who is now scaling the heights of success in the entertainment industry is Angela Yee. She, after a career in the hip hop music industry, previously hosted two popular radio shows on Shade 45 i.e. -The Morning After With Angela Yee- and -Lip Service-. The latter was especially popular because the invited interviewees were well known personalities from the entertainment industry and they were engaged in discussions based on their relationships and sex lives. Angela then moved to Power 105.1 and now hosts -The Breakfast Club-. While her new show isn’t sexually-oriented it has definitely caught on with the public in a massive way. In collaboration with Vibe Magazine the show is now also available in print and video versions. Angela Yee certainly exemplifies the notion that black female models have what it takes to become quintessential market leaders whatever their line of work is.
