The Hindi film industry is seeing the rise of a lot of talented upcoming artists. A number of forthcoming Hindi films are casting new stars over experienced actors as their movies mostly pull the audience to theatres.
Other than that, films with youthful topics demand youthful artists. A lot of young actors in Hindi film industry have started their career successfully in Hindi movies.
Bollywood’s adored chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor at first seemed like a one hit actor with Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar in 2003. After this film, a string of flop films followed until he got the much needed break with Jab We Met with Kareena Kapoor. The talented young actor proved that he could hold his own in the critically acclaimed hit Kaminey. He is the lead actor in upcoming Hindi films Milenge Milenge and Mausam in which he acting along side Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor respectively.
One among the talented young actors Ranbir Kapoor could not make it big with Saawariya, his first film in the film industry released in 2007. However, he did manage to get selected as the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for the character in the movie.
His following movie Bachna Ae Haseeno pulled public to theatres and got good response from the critics. Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani were commercially successful even though both films got mixed responses. 2010 witnessed release of his ventures Anjaana Anjaani opposite to Priyanka Chopra and Rajneeti.
Even though he is usually in the news for his unusual pick of movies, Abhay Deol is certainly a promising Bollywood actor. Not like the typical Bollywood hero, his chosen first film was Socha Na Tha in 2005. The film could not draw the cinemagoers to theatres. The 2008 film Oye Lucky Lucky Oye was a blockbuster and brought good reviews for his artistic performance.
Dev D by Anurag Kashyap gave a thrust to Abhay’s acting career and within no time he was considered among the best. He will be starring in upcoming Bollywood movies Rajshri Ojha’s Aisha and Zoya Akhtar’s Running with the Bulls.
